OMEGA and IAAF Diamond League launch smartphone app
OMEGA, the Official Timekeeper of the global premier athletics series, has announced the creation of a mobile application designed to complement their partnership. It was/will be launched on May 2nd.

Once again, Weltklasse Zürich and the Memorial van Damme meeting in Brussels will be hosting the final events of the IAAF Diamond League. In addition to 16 final events, Weltklasse Zürich will stage two exciting sprint races in 2014: the men’s 100m and the women’s 4x100m.

Oswald Steif ist „Erdgas Volunteer of the year 2013“ von Weltklasse Zürich. Er wurde im Rahmen des Helferfestes im Circus Salto Natale geehrt. Dank der Unterstützung von Erdgas konnten die Volunteers als Dankeschön für ihre „Weltklasse-Arbeit“ die Zirkusvorstellung „Fabuloso“ geniessen.

Valerie Adams Continues Winning Streak and Breaks Meeting Record
The first winner of the 2013 IAAF Diamond League is – Valerie Adams (NZL). The four-time world champion won her 41st consecutive competition today. Her best attempt at Weltklasse Zürich at Zurich Main Station – 20.98m – were a meeting record and a new world leading result. In the men’s competition, world leader Ryan Whiting (USA) secured his fourth diamond with a main station record. The men’s IAAF Diamond League final event will take place in Brussels next week.
