Unlike the new "piste magique" at the Letzigrund stadium, the synthetic surface will not be applied directly to the surface using a spraying technique by Weltklasse Zürich partner Conica, but will be pre-produced and then rolled out once for the city event on Wednesday evening, September 8, fixed to the asphalt and provided with the appropriate markings. Thanks to the curve construction, which is based on indoor facilities, the internationally certified but not record-homologated Conica track offers the ten finalists the best conditions for a "groundbreaking" Diamond Race over almost nine laps in the middle of the city.
