What a great, inspirational night at Weltklasse Zürich. Both the world’s best athletes and the world’s finest crowed were in peak form. And so, the legendary buzz at Letzigrund Stadium yielded many outstanding performances on Zurich’s magic track and on the infield once again.

They turned the Olympic Parc in Munich into a red-and-white sea of flags: Five Swiss athletes won six European championship medals, creating a wonderful summer memory for all athletics fans. Led by European champion Mujinga Kambundji, members of Generation UBS Kids Cup triumphed on the big stage for the first time.

All is ready for the second edition of Weltklasse Zürich on Sechseläutenplatz: Diamond Trophies will be awarded in two 5000m races, two shot put finals, the women’s pole vault and the men’s high jump.
WANDA DIAMOND LEAGUE FINAL: Anything is possible – Diamond Trophies up for grabs
The Wanda Diamond League is celebrating its grand finale in Zurich for the second time. All final events will be held at Weltklasse Zürich again, after a successful first edition of the series’ season highlight in 2021. 26 out of the 32 Diamond Trophies will be awarded at Letzigrund Stadium tonight, more than ever before. On average, every seven minutes a new champion will be crowned.
