The new IAAF Diamond League format turns Weltklasse Zürich 2017 into a grand finale with even greater drawing power than before: The series’ final will feature exciting athletics action with athletes on the hunt for the fiercely contested Diamond Trophies, which come with an increased prize money award this year. The first stars have already secured their spot on the Zurich entry list.
The world’s leading female pole vaulters to fly high again at Zurich Main Station
After an immensely successful event last year, the world’s leading pole vaulters will compete again at Weltklasse Zürich at Zurich Main Station on Wednesday, 23 August. Reigning Olympic champion Ekaterini Stefanidi (Greece), world champion Yarisley Silva (Cuba), as well as Switzerland’s national record holder Nicole Büchler and U20 world champion Angelica Moser all plan to fly high and treat spectators to another fascinating show.
