Running legend Mo Farah has arrived in Switzerland to tackle the last 5000m race of his track career at Weltklasse Zürich. The first stop of his visit in Zurich, however, was the traditional training session with kids – an exciting event with many happy young talents.

Weltklasse Zürich will feature as many as eight duels between reigning Olympic champions and newly crowned world champions on Thursday, 24 August. The winners of 16 final events will be awarded one of the coveted Diamond Trophies and 50,000 US dollars in prize money.

Weltklasse Zürich 2017: Showdown in Zurich after London World Championships
After completing their competitions at the IAAF World Championships in London, the world’s best athletes are heading to Zurich where the first of two IAAF Diamond League finals will take place in its new format for the first time. Weltklasse Zürich (on 24 August) will be the next highlight for both fans and athletes: 18 new world champions will try to become a Diamond League champion and to win a share of the 1.6 million US dollar prize money on offer.
