Jugend trainiert mit Weltklasse: Sharing the passion for athletics with young fans
An unforgettable experience for the youngest Weltklasse Zürich fans: Two days prior to the meeting, numerous kids met with their athletics idols for exciting training sessions in eight Swiss towns, including Basel, Langenthal, Mendrisio, Schaffhausen, Teufen, Thun, Zug, and Zurich. The stars turned coaches arrived by helicopter or in a limousine and were greeted like heroes.

Letzigrund Stadium is getting ready for yet another athletics highlight. The world’s and the continent’s finest athletes will gather at Weltklasse Zürich – one of two IAAF Diamond League events – this Thursday (28 August). 12 world leaders, 15 new European champions, 11 2013 world champions, and 10 reigning Olympic champions will be lining up for a high-carat programme of events.
