In a close competition, Britain’s Holly Bradshaw pulled off a surprise victory by defeating Olympic champion Ekaterini Stefanidi and Olympic silver medallist Sandi Morris with a series of first-time clearances up to and including 4.76m.

It is hard to come from a big event. You’re mentally tired. I thought neither me nor Sandi were going to win tonight, but still there is no pressure on these occasions and you can test some things. Anyway, I feel I can jump 5 meters, I see it, just things haven’t come together yet.
