On August 27 and 28, 2025, the grand final of the Wanda Diamond League will take place at Weltklasse Zürich – on Sechseläutenplatz and in Letzigrund Stadium. All 32 disciplines will be contested over two days, and all Wanda Diamond League Champions will be crowned. For the first time, eight selected events will receive increased prize money.
A distinction is made between regular Diamond disciplines and so-called Diamond+ disciplines: Eight events that are particularly popular with fans and feature deep competition have been selected by the Wanda Diamond League Board and will receive increased prize money. The winner’s bonus in these events is set at USD 50,000, further enhancing their sporting appeal and strategically positioning the Wanda Diamond League.

400m Hurdles Men
Pole Vault Men
100m Women
100m Hurdles Women

As the final event of the Wanda Diamond League, Weltklasse Zürich will host eight Diamond+ disciplines – twice as many as any other meeting, which each feature four of these top-tier events. The total prize money for the 2025 Wanda Diamond League season amounts to USD 9.24 million – a historic record. All prize money is awarded with gender equality: men and women receive equal prize money in all disciplines.
Weltklasse Zürich has been part of the international elite of athletics meetings for decades. It is recognized worldwide for its unique blend of top athletic performances, Swiss precision, and emotional audience experience. After successfully hosting the finals in 2021 and 2022, the Wanda Diamond League Final 2025 returns once again to Zurich – turning the city once more into the global center of athletics.
