Athletics fans in Zurich will be excited: six-time Olympic Champion Usain Bolt will compete at the IAAF Diamond League final meeting in Zurich 29 August 2013. The fastest man on earth will make his sixth appearance at the legendary Letzigrund Stadium this year. Stadium tickets for Weltklasse Zürich 2013 will be on sale as of Tuesday, 14 May 2013, 9am.

Usain Bolt to Compete at Weltklasse Zürich 2013!

“I am excited to go back to Zurich. I love the electric atmosphere at the stadium. And both the competition and the events during the week of the meeting are always extremely well organized”, said Usain Bolt. The triple world record holder will arrive in town after competing in the world championships in Moscow. “I have been to Zurich several times but haven’t yet been able to see much of the city.  I hear Zurich is a very nice city.  Maybe I will get to spend a few days there this year after the meet,” he added.

He will decide closer to the event whether he will line up for the 100m or the 200m race at the famous meeting.

Tickets available for purchase as of 14 May 2013, 9 a.m.
Meeting Director Patrick K. Magyar expects another grand night of athletics after a very successful meeting edition following the London Olympic Games last year. “We are delighted to be able to sign our agreement with the most popular athlete already now. And fans will have to make sure to secure their tickets for the event even earlier than usually”, Patrick Magyar explained.

Stadium tickets for Weltklasse Zürich will be available for purchase as of Tuesday, 14 May 2013, 9am.
